High ranking's Special Officer to the Malaysia Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s aide Datuk Nasir Safar alleged in saying “Indians came to Malaysia as beggars and Chinese especially the women came to sell their bodies” at a 1 Malaysia seminar in Malacca, a southern state in Malaysia.
The world is shock and very alarming on the remarks from this very high raking officer in Malaysia.
Chinese Primier and India Primier, the world, and all global citizens will find the remarks very alarming, insulting to all!
Alor Gajah MIC member, who only wished to be known as Maniam, said he heard clearly Nasir’s threat to revoke citizenships, before he joined others to leave the meeting. “I also heard he said when Umno is facing problems MCA, MIC and Gerakan do not seem concerned,” he told The Malaysian Insider by telephone.
Sources said Nasir also remarked that "Indians in Malaysia have crossed the line. They force the government for 12 subjects in SPM. Don't force the government. We can anytime revoke the citizenship of the Indians in Malaysia."
The senior aide also allegedly said "Indians came to Malaysia as beggars and Chinese especially the women came to sell their bodies", touching off the furore and leading to the walkout.
Another local MIC member, who spoke on condition of anonymity, also said he heard Nasir use the word “pendatang”. “He said it was Umno who drafted the (federal) constitution and other parties were not involved,” he said.
He added that they confronted Nasir during tea break but the latter defended himself by saying he was only referring to Hindraf leaders.
The outlawed Hindraf group, which brought 30,000 Indians to the streets in November 2007, have persistently charged Umno with sidelining the community

納西爾今早出席新聞、通訊及文化部特別事務局，在馬六甲國際貿易中心大禮堂舉行主辦的“促進一個馬來西亞”研討會上，發表被認為傷害華印裔族群感受的言論，包括印裔乞討和華裔賣身等，引起部份華印裔出席者離席抗議。
他發表引來抗議的言論包括：“大馬印裔促請政府讓印裔考生在大馬教育文憑考試中選考12科，不要向政府施壓，我們隨時可以褫奪印裔在大馬的公民權。”
“印裔來大馬是來‘乞討’的，華人來大馬是來‘賣身’的。”
離席抗議的馬華野新區會副秘書陳金釵受訪時說，約50名代表國陣成員黨的華印出席者離席抗議。
他說，他出席研討會是期望聽到如何攜手貫徹“一個馬來西亞”意見，但華裔被指來大馬“賣身”的言論，令他感到非常不舒服。
他說，尤其是研討會上有不少出席者是中學生，主講人不應向這些國家未來主人翁灌輸錯誤訊息。
國大黨甲州副秘書哥溫達拉祖說，他讚揚首相拿督斯里納吉提出的“一個馬來西亞”理念，首相的官員卻發表這種言論，令人難以置信。
他說，尤其是指印裔來這裡“乞討”及恫言褫奪公民權的言論，令人心裡感到不舒服，也無法接受。

首相助理讲错话侮辱华印裔 马华国大党代表离席抗议
（马六甲2日讯）首相拿督斯里纳吉特别助理拿督纳西尔今早在马六甲举办的“促进一个大马研讨会”主讲，言论触及种族敏感，使到大部分马华及国大党代表离席抗议。
根据了解，纳西尔在谈论一个马来西亚概念时，指华印同胞有太多的诉求，还指华人当年到马来亚是来“卖身”，而印裔则是到这里来行乞。
他还表示，诸多的诉求并不会成功，而且政府还可以剥夺不满者的公民权。
马华野新区会副秘书兼野新市议会协调官陈金钗是出席者之一，他对纳西尔的言论深表失望，并认为对华印同胞非常不公平。
“华人到马来西亚后，在各方面作出很多贡献，却被指到来‘卖身’，纳西尔还指华印裔在不应该在教育课题上有诸多诉求。”
他说，如此的言论简直就是在破坏种族和谐，让会场上中学生也感到突然，因为他们是带来吸取正确知识，没想到领袖却向他们道出违反历史事实的言论。
国大党马六甲州副秘书加依哥威德兰说，真的不相信有关言论是来自首相的特别助理，更何况是在一个强调国民团结的研讨会。

According to a Malaysiakini report, Nasir called Malaysian Chinese and Indians pendatang (immigrants) and made other remarks demeaning the two communities. Malaysiakini quoted its source as saying that scores of people walked out in protest.
Bernama quoted the statement from the Prime Minister’s office as saying the remarks did not "in any way reflect the views of the Prime Minister."
It added: "Nasir never intended to make any derogatory remarks. He spoke at length on the contributions made by all races in developing the country.
"Nevertheless, Nasir apologises for any offence caused.
"In light of this, Nasir will tender his resignation."

At least this guy know shame and resign. If he did have an education, I’m afraid it did him no good. I hope many more will take the cue from him and commit symbolic ’sepuku.’

Pls BN no more cover ups on this fiasco which was instigated thru perception by the govt of the day. Yes he may have resigned and judging from his photo here, he should have years ago resigned, the rakyat demands that he should be sacked and not be entitled to any benefit that befits a govt servant, otherwise those so call servants will, in their twilght years take the oppurtunity to parade tirades and get off scot free. Rakyat do not be fooled but be wise as serpents and demand him be strick off all pensions! He must apologised to all Malaysians, not to BN, cos it’s the taxpayers who funded his racist’s escapade! Only Tuhan can forgive him!
