Michael Moore @ Occupy Wall Street




Michael Moore, the Academy Award-winning filmmaker, writer and outspoken voice of liberal politics, will give a talk Friday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts, 2132 Hillside Road, at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, as part of The Mark Twain House & Museum's "A Pen Warmed Up in Hell" lecture series.

Moore first gained fame as director of the 1989 documentary on the decline of the auto industry, "Roger and Me." His other films include the Oscar-winning "Bowling for Columbine," "Fahrenheit 9/11," "Sicko," and "Capitalism: A Love Story."

His new memoir is "Here Comes Trouble" (Grand Central Publishing, $26.99) and he also is the author of "Stupid White Men" and "Dude, Where's My Country?"
