物價飆漲 憂心調控 大陸基金買股意願創8個月新低

路透昨 (28) 日發布的最新月度調查顯示,中國基金經理未來 3 個月股票持倉建議配比下降至 79.4% ,創 8 個月來新低,物價形勢及調控政策仍是基金經理最關心的話題!!!


而近期外圍局勢動盪亦令他們擔憂。板塊方面,能源股配比上升,而金融與房地?板塊建議配比明顯回落。

香港《大公報》報導,本次共有 8 位基金經理參與調查,其中 6 位對未來 3 個月滬綜指的預估區間高看至 3000 點或以上,而上次調查中,大多基金經理預期是略高於 2800 點。該指數昨日收報 2905.05 點,漲 0.92%。

此前調查的股票建議配比由去年 12 月的 82.5% ,微升至 1 月的 82.8% 。相比之下,本次債券的建議配比回升至 6.9% ,上次為 4.3% ;現金的建議配比亦上升至 13.8% ,上次為 12.9%。

上海一位基金經理指出,股市漲跌都跟調控和通脹相關,市場最大風險是通脹和調控力度超預期,而機會則來自領先指標是否會帶來放鬆預期。除此之外,另一位基金經理指出,還有中東地區的不穩定對原油價格的衝擊。

中國央行此前自 2 月 24 日起,年內第二次上調存款準備金率 0.5 個百分點,令大型金融機構存款準備金率達到 19.5% 歷史高位。

摩根士丹利報告預計,中國上半年還會有兩次加息,並伴隨存款準備金率的普調或者差別調整

國家統計局自 1 月起調整了 CPI (消費者物價指數) 權重, 1 月 CPI 同比上漲 4.9% ,低於市場預期。國家信息中心專家預期,經調控可以將全年 CPI 漲幅控制在 4% 。不過,近期河南、山東等華北和華中地區的旱災以及中東北非地區局勢令國際油價猛漲,均給中國的物價調控帶來不小的壓力。

板塊方面,能源股成為本次調查中基金經理明顯上調建議配置比例的品種之一。基於中東地區情勢目前仍未穩定,基金經理對能源股的建議配比已提高至 11.13% ,較上次的 9.9% 明顯上升。近期埃及和利比亞出現動盪局勢,利比亞石油出口幾近停止,令國際油價大漲。倫敦布蘭特原油上週四一度接近 120 美元,創下兩年半來的高位。

而在中國政府出臺新一輪房地?調控政策及繼續上調準備金率後,房地和金融股的建議配比明顯回落。


金融板塊本次建議配比為 10.63% ,上次 14% 。而房地?板塊的建議配比則由上次的 7.2% 大幅減至4%。

國務院 1 月底出臺調控房市的「新國 8 條」規定,調高二套房首付、全面鋪開「限購」、擴大營業稅徵收範圍,並要求尚未採取住房限購措施的省市需在 2 月中旬之前出臺細則,上海和重慶試點徵收房稅。近期京滬穗等大城市的房地成交大幅下降。

BN hari ini secara senyap mengedarkan berkotak-kotak barang makanan kepada penduduk satu-satunya kampung Cina di Kerdau atas nama bantuan.


Kotak yang diangkut dengan trak petang ini diedarkan oleh beberapa orang yang memakai baju merah yang pergi ke beberapa rumah bagi mengenalpasti identiti penduduk.

Semua penduduk yang agak tua yang enggan dikenali berkata mereka didatangai beberapa orang yang mahu memberikan "bantuan makanan" secara percuma dengan syarat pelekat BN ditampal di pintu rumah mereka.

"Kami diminta mengundi BN dan kami diberahu bahawa sesiapa yang menyokong pembangkan tidak akan mendapat bantuan," dakwanya.

Malaysiakini difahamkan kira-kira 100 kotak diedarkan petang tadi.

Kotak itu, dengan pelekar gambar wajah Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak dan menterinya Datuk Seri Shahrizat Jalil mengandungi nasi, Milo, biskut, susu tepung dan sardin dalam tin.

Ia juga dilekatkan dengan tulisan "Akhirkan Zaman Miskin".

Seorang lelaki yang memakai kemeja-t BN, dipercayai membantu mengedarkan kotak itu, berkata hanyalah "satu bentuk bantuan".


Tetapi apabila ditanya lanjut, beliau hanya menjawab "tak ada apa-apa".

Sementara itu Timbalan Pengerusi PAS Pahang Hamzah Jaafar yang ditemui di tempat itu mendakwa perkara itu merupakan satu bentuk rasuah.

Manakala ADUN Tras daripada DAP Chong Siew Onn pula berkata perkara itu bertentangan dengan undang-undang pilihan raya dan akan melaporkannya kepada pihak Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya

RanHill

Ranhill is not ready to say anything about its operations in Libya as it is unsure of the situation in the country. Ranhill is involved in a US$1.2 billion (RM3.66 billion) Tajura Housing Project, which involves the design and construction of 10,680 units of residential apartments in Tripoli , Libya . The project, due for completion in February 2013, was contracted by the Housing and Infrastructure Board of the Libyan Government to Amona Ranhill Consortium, a Ranhill subsidiary.

MMC Corp

Its exposure in Middle East is in the development of the Red Sea terminal, power and water projects and is joint master developer of Jazan Economic City in Saudi Arabia .


Financial Impact: The engineering and construction division, posted a segmental profit of rm5.3 million on revenue of RM40.2 million in FY2008. In FY2009, although revenue dipped by more than 80%, the company made losses of RM8.5 million.

Sime Darby

The company was awarded a number of projects in the Middle East over the past the four years (2007-2010).


Financial Impact: Estimated losses for FY2009-FY2010 for its Middle East to be Billions of Ringgit.

Zelan

Its overseas exposure were from contracts in Saudi Arabia , Abu Dhabi and Indonesia .

In FY2009, some 90% of the total construction order book were foreign. In Aug 2009, it reported that the order book of Rm1.8 billion would last till the 4Q2010.



Its Middle Eastern order book consists of mainly power plant construction project.


Financial Impact: It registered net losses of rm184 million for three months ended march 2010, a deterioration from the previous quarter’s loss of rm58 million.


Gamuda

The company has been successful in completion of projects and payment collection but is being sued by Bahrain Asphalt Establishment for alleged prolongation, among other allegations.



LCL Corp


The company fell into PN17 status with creditors and banks demanding repayment due to Dubai ’s bubble burst.


Financial Impact: It posted a net profit of RM9.8 million in FY2008 following the Dubai crash. It posted large net losses of rm391 million in FY2009 and RM130 million in 1DFY2010.



WCT

The group completed a number of projects in the Middle East .


Financial Impact: The company is facing arbitration in relation to the cancelation of the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse in Dubai and a request for arbitration as a result of the Dukhan Highway project.


WCT is one of the defendants, who are liable to pay RM101 million collectively if the case is successful.


Muhibbah

Its Middle East order book was particularly disappointing with respects of delays and cost overruns, particularly for its Yemen LNG project.

Financial Impact: In FY2007, the infra and construction division’s pre tax totaled RM34 million on revenue of rm745 million.


In FY2008 and FY2009, although revenue doubled from FY2007 levels, this division posted losses of RM21 million and Rm38 million respectively, due to additional costs incurred on the Yemen project.

When a white novelist writes the dialogue of a black character, the condescension can make his reader cringe.

Take the sample below:

“I looks like gwine to heaven, an’t thar where white folks is gwine? S’pose they’d have me thar? I’d rather go to torment, and get away from Mas’r and Missis. I had so.” (Mas’r and Missis are Master and Mistress, as the book was set during the time of black slavery in America).

Does Michelle Obama speak anything like the ‘black’ English caricatured? Heaven forbid.

Now let’s go to ‘Interlok’ and see a sampling of how the book’s Chinese characters are made to speak.

Do many Chinese today speak such bad BM as mimicked in Interlok? How relevant is the book to our society today?

How would you feel when you’re forced to digest the ‘lu’, ‘gua’ Cina Pek mimicry, and mockery of stereotypical Chinese pronunciation, e.g. “Gua mau kasi olang lain mikin kalija.”

The Chinese character painted above by Interlok author Abdullah Hussain is the ‘bad’ Chinese. Abdullah’s ‘good’ Chinese is the one who sides with the Malay and turns his back on his own [Chinese] people.

The breach between father and son occurs on Page 240:

“Apa Ah Seng? Gua kejam apa?” suaranya keras dan meninggi [asks Cing Huat when confronted by his son Yew Seng who accuses the father of 'kacang lupakan kulit' tak kenang budi and mistreating the Malay hero].

“Papa terlalu kejam pada Seman,” jawabnya lagi dengan tenang. [replies the son]

Ah Seng repudiates his own father. As we know from previous excerpts from the novel, the Chinese have been portrayed as the scums of the earth. The Malays on the other hand have been portrayed as most kind and noble.

Should the authority take action against the student who ...chanting the word PARIAH? Cara berfikir Cing Huat masih terpengaruh dengan ayahnya yang tidak menghargai kelahiran anak perempuan. Akhirnya Cing Huat sedar akan kesilapannya apabila dia sanggup bekerjasama dengan orang Melayu dan India.

- For a novel that is supposed to teach racial unity, it is surprising that our young minds are taught again and again that Chinese and Indians really, really love their “tanah air” – China and India.

- This falls neatly in line with the BTN propaganda that the Chinese & Indians came to Tanah Melayu to suck its wealth and escape the shithole of a homeland they had. The Chinese especially is emphasised as having completely taken over the Malays’ wealth through their incessant, ruthless cheating and lying, so “apa lagi Cina mau” right?

Again and again and again, the message is reinforced that the Chinese and Indians are separate and not really a part of Tanah Melayu. Instead their loyalty is to their homelands – China and India. The evidence of this are the vernacular schools that the immigrants established that teach the Chinese and Indian students to love China and India. (Remember that this is not any speculation on HartalMSM’s part, but it is a lesson breakdown done by an accomplished BM teacher!)
Imagine what the Malay students will think of their Chinese & Indian fellow students who studied at vernacular primary schools? Then imagine 4 years of public uni where the same message is reinforced by the BTN. Then imagine those going into govt service where re-auditing the BTN courses is a compulsory criteria for promotion.


The westernised liberal adults need to realise that the target market of this book are not the affluent, western-educated liberal adults who hold on to “live and let live” attitudes. The target market is the hundreds of thousands of young Malay kids who will form UMNO’s vote bank in GE14.


So the powers-that-be really couldn’t care less what the non-Malays think. In fact, if more non-Malays have this “live and let live” attitude and convinces others to be the same, it helps their cause incredibly!


So forget about voting to show your displeasure when GE13 comes – you may just find that in GE14 your one vote has been tsunami-ed by the 500,000 other pro-BTN votes because you didn’t think that Interlok was an issue to be taken seriously today.

We now have access to the Official “Guidelines for the writing of textbooks” issued by the Text book division of the MOE itself, and on this basis there is no question that failure to observe these guidelines will make it mandatory that the work MUST be withdrawn as a textbook.

We are grateful once again for the opportunity to call for the total withdrawal of Interlok for the main objection stated from day one, namely, that the book does not meet the stringent pedagogic requirements for a text book.

Earlier objections were essentially on the grounds of the failure to identify specific theoretical frameworks, validity and reliability of the book material and methodology.

However we now have access to the Official “Guidelines for the writing of textbooks” issued by the Text book division of the MOE itself, and on this basis there is no question that failure to observe these guidelines will make it mandatory that the work MUST be withdrawn as a textbook.

The Chairman of the Panel, appointed to advise on the status of the book, is virtually certain to have pointed out to members that almost ALL the guidelines for a text book WERE NOT OBSERVED in the publication of INTERLOK.

The following criteria from the Guidelines should make this position absolutely clear.

1. Firstly and more specifically “Sensitive Elements and Negative elements” such as stipulated below MUST NOT be included.
“Matters which may be misconstrued, discriminatory, deemed insulting or offensive as pertaining to race, religion, culture, gender age or occupation.”
“Matters pertaining to attitudes, thoughts, and behaviour which are contrary to values in the society”

The book in fact abounds with a multitude of such sensitive and negative elements to the extent that it has been referred to as “a classic work of Malaysian racism”.

2. Other matters that MUST BE observed include the inculcation of “noble values and positive thinking”.

The ethnic and racial stereotyping that runs through the entire work totally negates and ignores this guideline.

3. The factual material must be “accurate in content and be consistent” The facts must be “valid based on ICT methods and must be reliable in theory and practice”.

The work is a fictional and imaginative novel and therefore these dimensions do not apply in the first place.

4. An important dimension repeatedly emphasized the need for critical thinking provisions stated as follows;
This should be “the platform for teaching and learning so as to stimulate and develop pupil’s imagination through thinking strategies and creative thinking”.

The book makes no attempt whatsoever to adhere to this guideline.


It would be tedious to comment on the very many submissions that the book should be retained. There may however be some reservations as to the implications and negative impact of the total withdrawal of this book in the context of national integration.

On the other hand, the government will be judged on the basis of making the final decision enhancing good governance with the important proviso that this unfortunate situation does not happen again.

All Malaysians regardless of race and religion should read this book- INTERLOK.
They should make their own conclusion about this book as well as its writer. Unable to complete reading the rather boring book, I came across rather demeaning and derogatory phrases that was disturbing. I truly wonder what was the actual intention of the writer.Anyway he wrote it 40 years ago,at a time when there may not be much available material on the caste system thus misusing the word pariah and generalising that all Indians come from this caste. Today I believe most of the Indians may not know or understand the caste system and it is totally irrelevant to a progressive nation that is if we are progressing.

I can only conclude that ppl involved in deciding to use this text as literature are terrible arrogant,insensitive,had a dirty hidden agenda . They are insincere Malaysians. They are useless educators and I believe racist hiding behind education ministry. If they were sensitive towards the feeling of the other races in Malaysia ,they definitely would not have used that book as a school textbook,It totally disgusts me that the Education Ministry which is so keen of changing books at the whims and fancy did not feel that this book is demeaning and belittling the non Malays. THEY SHOULD HAVE REMOVED THE BOOK AND APOLOGIZED TO ALL MALAYSIANS FOR THIS UNNECESSARY MISTAKE.

There must be a shortage of creative malay language writers in malaysia. Interlok is rubbish. How it got into the education system is probably due to friendship with the top guns at dewan bahasa dan pustaka. The income using the books for all secondary schools probably comes to hundreds of thousands per year paid to the writer, plus millions to dewan bahasa itself.

IT is now clear as daylight there's a hidden agenda on where INterlok was approved.
I will not be so naive as to blame the Bahagian Buku Teks for such a unprofessional decision- the order must have come from the Education minister himself.
Look at him defending the indefensible!!
It is time now for opposition against Interlok to be more widespread-DAP, PKR and PAS must show their committment to an united Malaysia here.

If the government was fair and allowed all kinds of books to be read in Malaysia, then not many people will be complaining. Any book that say anything bad about the government is banned. Any book that dares to say anything bad about the Malay people will be banned. Any book that evens tries to say anything bad about Islam......the author would be hunted down and killed.

But say anything about the Chinese people or Indian people, and the government calls on the people to be more broad minded. Interlock HAS to go! There are no two ways about it. Whatever amendments will never change the concept of the book which is to shame and condemn the Non-Malays.
Our Malay First DPM ala the Education without education Minister has sinister motives when he announced that History will be a compulsory subject.He made the annoucement during UMNO’s General Assembly!The History he had in mind is according to Perkosa/UMNO versions which will enforce the “Ketuanan Melayu” and “Pendatang” concepts supported with statements by our Indian turn Mamak converted Malay….the Racist Mahathir.

As for the so called guardians of Malaysian Indians…MIC,their Leaders statements from Saravanan,Kamalanathan(Perkosa Supporter),Subra are all carefully worded statements so as NOT to hurt Big Brother UMNO.

The issue with Interlok is not about the veracity of the authors claim but rather the implications and repercussions. Vulnerable teenage minds are being indoctrinated. If a Malay boy calls you a pariah and walks away how would you feel. Just imagine the trauma and inferiority complex Indian students would go through when other students and teachers(yes,teachers) tease them as pariah. It seems most of you are missing the point. We are not against the book as it was written about 40 years ago. The issue is why make it a compulsory text books for schools now? There seems to be a hidden agenda against Indians now. Now, if I write a book about the Malays, for example, and say that the Malay race is famous for incest with their own daughters (which is a fact) and that this is their trait, will this book now be made a compulsory text book for schools?

I would definitely give a big NO to the interlok. for it does hurt the feelings of an Indian and also it will become a negative remark that will be used by the others to address the Indian.
Also i can’t see the government’s rationale saying that this novel reflects to Malaysia kini and nation building and so on for there are many more good writers presented their art using the same theme such as k.s maniam in his writing In tandem. This piece of writing “INTERLOK” should be discarded.

The answer is No, nor should the book be altered for the sake of being introduced in school. This book maybe a literary Gem for some. But it certainly is no gem for 17 year olds, for that matter in any educational institution. YES THIS BOOK SHOULD BE BANNED AS A STUDY MATERIAL. Interlok: Bishop calls for wisdom of sensitivities

The head of Melaka-Johor Diocese describes Interlok as a poor choice for the edification of our youth.

There is an urgent need for the wisdom of sensitivity to override other imperatives in the controversy over the literary textbook 'Interlok', said the head of the Roman Catholic Church of Melaka-Johor Diocese.

Bishop Dr Paul Tan, who is also president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference, speaking as the bishop of Melaka-Johor Diocese, said a literary text that is commended for the edification of youth in a multi-racial society should adhere to supra-partisan, supra-racial standards and values.

"By those standards, 'Interlok' won't qualify as a recommended text because there is cause for legitimate concern that it gets its history and sociology wrong," opined Bishop Tan, in comments made to Malaysiakini.

"'Interlok' has got its history and sociology wrong in much the same that a local preacher of the Muslim faith has got her facts wrong about St Valentine's Day and its supposed connection to Christian lifestyles," he elaborated.

"The ease with which some with a pedagogical role in Malaysian society get their historical and sociological facts wrong is a symptom of the gulfs that prevail and the difficulty that people of goodwill face when attempting to bridge them," he remarked.

"In situations such as this one, if you persist with a text like 'Interlok', you will only freeze people in the mental and cultural ghettoes they find themselves in and as consequence, you will make racial stereotyping easy and the desire to discover the difference between appearance and reality that much harder to promote," he expatiated.

Novel's subliminal message

Tan said he found in conversations with Hindu Malaysians a sense of their being selected for cultural and religious pummeling as a consequence of the results of the 12th general election of March 2008.

"There is a feeling that a minority is being specially selected for psychological punishment as a result of the way the vote went in the last general election.


"The book 'Interlok', in its historical and cultural miscues, is seen as a text that was selected for the goal of conveying the message that a subject people ought to compare their current status with the servitude they supposedly endured in the past," commented Bishop Tan.

He held the subliminal message of the novel was that the Indian minority in Malaysia ought to compare their plight in the light of times past and times present.

"This is a highly subjective ethos which is not suitable for the edification of youth who at the school-leaving stage ought to be fed with reading material that projects universal values and themes," he said.


He also said putting one's religion, culture and ethnicity above others goes against all sense of a desire to dialogue, understand and accept others as they are, which is the foundation of the unity of a people.

For that reason, Bishop Tan said the Education Ministry should reconsider the selection of 'Interlok' as a literary text for Form 5 students and replace it with a choice that elevates rather than estranges our youth.

On page 202 in the unabridged version of Interlok, there is the scene showing Kim Lock (father to the main Chinese character Cing Huat) “mengadakan hubungan jenis” with his mistress Mei Hua, a prostitute, after both get high on opium — as is the custom of their loveless sexual union.

Cing Huat’s wife later finds Mei Hua’s body hanging from the jamban (outhouse toilet): …

“Dan, alangkah terperanjatnya lagi demi dia melihat orang tergantung dalamnya dengan lidah terjelir keluar”

and needless to say, the shocked woman starts screaming hysterically at the gruesome sight. Mei Hua’s suicide is described on page 218.

On pages 337-8, there is the scene of the bad guy Suppiah raping Malini, wife of the main Indian character Maniam. She struggles, her sari is torn. Her coli is torn. His hands grope her breasts.

Our translation: “By then, Malini could not resist any longer. It has been three years since Maniam (her husband) left her. She was still young and when the secret places were aroused, she no longer possessed the willpower to fight (her body’s urges) anymore. She knew it was wrong, but how could she summon the strength to fight. Suppiah’s solid body was not only a weapon to defeat her resistance but also the tool to weaken her will.”

Malini hangs herself from a belimbing tree in shame when she becomes pregnant as a result of the rape.

In the student edition, Malini dies in bed from fever.

There are several editions of Interlok. The student edition was first printed in 2010 and copyrighted to Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka.



Earlier editions in 1971, 1973 and a reprint in 1996 (the year Abdullah Hussain got his Tokoh Sastera award) are copyrighted to the author.

On pages 457-8, a lecherous old communist guerrilla Teck Hock attempts to rape P0h Eng, Cing Huat’s daughter. It’s described how he pins her down and embraces her.

“Teck Hock was on top of her body.”

“Are you mad? screamed Poh Eng. “Gua anggap lu seperti gua punya bapa.”

“I’m not your father,” he replied. “I’m just an ordinary man …”.

Both rape scenes have been taken out from the student edition.

Is this sick book suitable for school?



There are many unappropriate elements in the book, so much so that the original had to be filtered (edited by Ruziati binti Abdul Rani and Baharin bin Ayob) and condensed to something like a hundred pages shorter for student reading.



If the censors had done such a thorough job of removing the paragraphs depicting sex, suicide and the violence, why did they leave the racist bits intact?!


Is a novel that has to be tampered with so much really a piece of outstanding literature for 16-year-olds to study for a major exam?

So much for Gapena’s (Malay writers association) posturing that not a single word in the novel can be allowed to be changed despite complaints by the Indians.



Hullo, the 503-page original book has already been truncated to 418 pages for its student edition.




The fact that the Interlok was butchered in length goes to show that Gapena — defending the book’s “freedom of expression” and insisting it can’t be touched — are nothing more than spindoctors.


There is a prawn behind the rock (udang sebalik batu) for this book’s selection as compulsory study.

Centre for Policy Initiatives (CPI) director Lim Teck Ghee has added his voice to calls for the novel Interlok to be removed from the Form Five Malay literature syllabus due to its perpetuation of “offensive stereotyping” of minorities.

This, while the controversial novel celebrates the virtues of the Malay race, culture and value system.

As such, Lim noted, it has led some quarters to see the novel as “the classic Malaysian racist book”.

In remarks e-mailed to Malaysiakini today, the former academician-turned-social activist said some may be tempted to invoke freedom of expression to justify maintaining the book as required reading in secondary schools.

That same “freedom to offend” would not, however, be granted if the offence were against Malays, he noted.

There is concern, furthermore, with the prospect of predominantly Malay literature teachers teaching students the novel and its racially-slanted messages.

While anger has been expressed mainly by Indian groups and politicians against the negative portrayal of the community in the novel – including the use of the term ‘pariah’ – ire has also been raised on the perpetuation of stereotypes relating to ethnic Chinese.

Stressing against the call for the book to be banned “in the same way in which the government has banned so many other books”, Lim said Interlok should not be in the prescribed literature curriculum and “certainly not let loose on young and impressionistic minds”.

It should be not made an exam text, furthermore, whereby students are liable to be coerced into giving the “officially correct” reading of the novel in their answer papers, and whose correctness is determined by the authorities marking the exam papers.

“This will poison young minds and bring unintended harmful consequences to race relations in the country,” he said.


Lim also questioned why the novel was now being made compulsory and enjoying “political patronage” when it had failed to impress the literati when it was first published in 1971 – four years after the manuscript had languished in obscurity, claimed Lim.

“It is not unreasonable to deduce that the book’s publication in 1971 was agenda-driven. The political scenario at that time, that is, the 1969 race riots and the introduction of the NEP in the following year, was rapidly evolving and veering to outright Malay nationalism.



“The decision – made only last year – to include Interlok in the reading list, is equally suspect as the 40-year-old book had in the past not got any rave reviews from either the reading public or the writing fraternity,” he added.


Expressing surprise that members of the government panel tasked with reviewing the book for its “offensive bits” had agreed to working under such a limited scope, Lim said the transparency of the exercise was suspect, given that the government had reportedly succumbed to Malay pressure groups in other issues.


“It was not paragraphs or sections of the book that were in question, although there were innumerable instances of racial stereotyping, historical errors and misrepresentation of Chinese and Indian culture and society.


(The historical fact is not real, not typical and bias.....very bias and misleading....I wish to say it is an idiot that not understand the Chinese and Indian and other races' reality that wrote the story...really misleading and bias!!!)

“Instead, it is the sum total of the book that needs to be rejected,” he added.

Although the rejection of the book on grounds of its unsuitability as a school textbook is not part of the terms of reference, he hoped the review panel would have the courage to arrive at this decision in view of the overwhelming evidence presented on the racially offensive overall thrust of the book.

Whatever the outcome of the review process, Lim challenged cabinet members to read the book – or the translation of the book – and “decide for themselves whether they would permit their own children to be exposed to it.”


More against ‘Interlok’

The Chinese Assembly Hall Youth also lent their weight against the novel.

Besides reinforcing the stereotype of Chinese and Indians as outsiders and immigrants, and the Chinese as deceitful and greedy, the novel also unconsciously promotes the idea of Malay supremacy, said chairperson of the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall Youth, Ng Chong Soon (left).

Although this might destroy relations between the ethnic communities in the country, this “is exactly what a race-based political party like Umno would need to serve its political agenda”, said Ng in a statement.

While freedom of expression should be respected,he added that narrow political interests should be kept out of education.



Echoing Lim’s comments, he also said the novel is rich in racial discrimination and factual errors.



“For example, the Chinese Anti-Japanese Army was depicted as wanting to build a small China in Malaya. And Indians were described as thinking that the Indian government takes better care of the Indians compared to Malaya’s government.”



The Ministry of Education should not have amended the school syllabus and selected ‘Interlok’ as a compulsory textbook unless it is treated as an example of racial discrimination, Ng stressed.



Meanwhile, The Human Rights Party’s (HRP) will hold an ‘anti-Interlok’ forum at the KL & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall tonight, while the ‘People’s march in solidarity against Umno’s racism’ is set for Sunday.



‘Interlok’, written by national laureate Abdullah Hussein, became controversial when it was selected as a Malay literature textbook for Form Five.

Several parties then opposed it on grounds it contains words and incidents deemed demeaning to Indian Malaysians.


Education Minister MuhyiddinYassin had announced on Jan 27 that the novel would remain as a textbook for Form Five, but with amendments to parts deemed offensive by the Indian community.

《連環扣》風波中,先由印裔副部長提起該書含污辱印裔字眼,引起印裔社會抗議,後馬來團體反對印裔團體的取消列中五讀本要求,一度僵持不下。它僅僅是印裔同胞的事情嗎?首場《連環扣》中文讀書會導讀人提出:這本書不適合當作中學生教科書。

印裔希望華社也能發聲以示關心,林連玉基金學術委員會和隆雪華堂民權委員會,於是舉辦了首場《連環扣(Interlok)》中文讀書會,理解這本書,由該學術委會副主任莊華興博士導讀,希望拋磚引玉。

也是博特拉大學外文系資深講師的莊華興說,《連環扣》牽涉到整個國家建國基礎的問題。作為中五學生文學讀本,人們對引發的爭議關注在族群衝突及團結,卻忽略了最關鍵的文學教育與審美教育,尤其讀者對像從公眾轉變成學生。

「文學作品須脫離意識形態牽制,不受作者偏見主導,尤其涉及歷史題材須忠於事實。」馬來評論界稱《連環扣》是歷史小說,但它敘述了抗日軍右翼建立華人國家,這說法沒反映史實。


「小說也描寫了國族建構議程(第61頁),描寫高佬這人物的奸詐與小說主人公塞曼的感受(第62至63頁),也大肆渲染高佬的狡猾與奸詐(第64);販賣悲情,以挑起族群矛盾(前後文本連貫)。為何作者要這樣渲染?這是為促進國民團結嗎?」莊華興反問。

「小說第4章,以幽微婉曲方式傳達『這是馬來人土地』觀念。這本書適合作為中五讀本嗎?問題焦點在於它為何在這個時刻被納入教育課程,尤其在歷史教科書事件上,非馬來人的貢獻刻意被排除在建國史之外這非常時期。」

「獨立時代讀這個文本當然沒問題,但大部分華人落籍斯土都已第5代,偏偏在這時搬出這種論述,要學子閱讀,讓書中那種觀念內化為個人或族群經驗,可想像對他們心理建設會有何影響。」

莊華興以1971年出版的公眾版本來說明。「這跟華社/馬來社會息息相關。它對華裔的意識形態整編跟對印裔沒兩樣;不同的是,作者所用某些字眼(Paria)在印裔社會發酵,引起反彈,對華社的敘述則沒有。」

他說:「文學教育更重要是須考慮由什麼時空的人來閱讀,可能造成的影響。從今天的時空來看,這本書不適合當作中學生教科書。為何享有國家文學地位的作品會出現美學/寫作技巧上的平庸與不足,及思想水平上的膚淺與缺陷?」

If you thought ‘pariah’ was the worst insult there is in the novel ‘Interlok’, you’re mistaken.

It is filled with every conceivable racial stereotype of Indians and Chinese that you can think of, applied hodge-podge but in over-abundance to the main characters.

Below are scans from the book. We’re using the original, ISBN 983-62-5578-8. There is a new abridged version tagged ‘Edisi Murid’, edited for students however.

Pages 119-120: Kim Lock, the father of the Chinese main character Cing Huat, is depicted by the novelist Abdullah Hussain as someone quite prepared to sell a daughter.

Page 151: Kim Lock is tempted by the bad guy Paman Kok Leng to sell Cing Huat. Because Cing Huat is a boy, the father has qualms. However, he would consider the proposition if the child was a girl.

Pages 232-233:

‘Gua menyesal gua dapat dua [anak] lelaki saja. Kalau ada orang mau tukar anak lelakinya dengan Poh Eng dan Poh Kheng gua mau sekarang ini.’

Cing Huat, now a father himself, is portrayed by Abdullah as someone who is in turn prepared to trade his daughters (for boys) without second thought.



This novel is full of negative racial stereotypes and BTN-like slurs. Remember Nasir Safar (the prime minister’s aide) who resigned after the comment (below) attributed to him:


‘Indians came to Malaysia as beggars and Chinese especially the women came to sell their bodies


‘Interlok’ is filled with the same characterizations of Chinese — prostitutes, womanisers, gamblers, cheats, scumbags, opium addicts, and more. Although the Chinese have no ‘pariah’ in their language, Abdullah Hussain portrays the ones who came here as debased creatures and from the dregs of society.

So you must be wondering why it is only the Indian NGOs and political parties that have raised complaints and nothing is heard from the Chinese even when they have been similarly subjected to the implied ‘pariah’ slurs?

It is simply NOT true that Chinese sold their daughters for monetary gain. It is a vicious lie. Yes, many Chinese gave away their daughters, and sometimes sons too, because they did not have the means to support them. Life was difficult those days and putting food was a serious issue confronted daily. Besides family planning was unheard of and most had large families of ten, twelve children and more. And yes, some payment was in order so as to feed the rest of the family. But this was not a monetary transaction as maliciously made out to be in the book.

The other main reason that babies were given away is because one or both parents died, and there was no way to care for the children. I personally know such cases of both Chinese and Indian children who were adopted by the immediate neighbour, being of Indian and Chinese respectively, simply because there was no one to care for the children. The neighbour just took over the children and brought him up as his own. One can meet such ‘Indians’ with Chinese surnames, and ‘Chinese’ with Indian names who told me their stories. Babies were also given away to Malay friends and neighbours especially during the war when malnutrition and retreat was the order of the day.

In other cases babies were given for adoption simply because some couples did not have a child.

Thus we see that giving away of babies and adopting babies were due to reasons of specific needs of the times and altruism, and not monetary gain. This is to be celebrated as a height of humanitarianism and interracial cohesiveness during peculiar difficult times!



Now in good times when we are all affluent do we see Chinese or anyone giving away babies? The answer lies right there!

Contoh-contoh yang diberi dalam buku bukanlah tipikal, malah amat mengejutkan kerana fakta seperti penjualan anak sebenarnya jarang berlaku. walaupun ada sebilangan yang sangat kecil komuniti Tionghua terpaksa "memberikan"(Pls note ini ialah pemberian bukan penjualan, amatlah pantang dan menjadi jahanam bagi masyarakat Tionghua yang "menjualkan anaknya", ini satu dosa amat besar!, penulis langsung tak faham fahaman dan pantang ini, yang jelas memaparkan kejahilan penulis pada bangsa dan kominitilain.Kerana kejahilan dan pemesongan fakta, kekurangan pemahaman pada realiti masyarakat Tionghua, India dan bangsa lain, maka penulisan yang sedemikian rupa hanya boleh menjadi bahan untuk bacaan "limited"(terhad ) di muzium orang kurang siuman, hospital permai dan mana bisa menjadi bahan bacaan murid atau pelajar??? janganlah menjahilkan pelajar kerana kejahilan menteri dan penulis sasau yang amat jahil dan menjahilkan diri!!!!!!!!!!!!)

魏家祥:力挺《连环扣》作者是无意伤害 促人民客观判断

(布城5日讯)教育部副部长拿督魏家祥(左图)表示,引起争议的中五生文学读物《连环扣》,确有出现让印裔「感受伤」的字眼,但他力挺该作者是无意伤害。

他说,该部尚等待国大党呈交有关抗议《连环扣》的备忘录,并促请人民以理性和客观的态度阅读该书。

他说,18年前这本文学书籍已在市面公开出售,这是教育部首次挑选此书作为中五的文学读物,因此引起印裔社会的不满。

魏家祥今日见证MASBE公司移交英文版本「《Ulam(野菜)》」新书予中学校长后,在记者会上如是指出。

他透露,本身也在阅读《连环扣》,以了解书本的内容,作客观判断。

他希望人们在认真阅读这本书后,才发表看法,而非人云亦云。

「我个人认为,这个作者无意伤害他族,但无可否认在此书确有一些字眼会让印裔感到受伤,其实书内并没这个意思。」

魏家祥提到,这名作者的人生经验丰富,因此他是以叙述故事的方式写作,这本书的价格是16令吉30仙,人们可自购阅读。

无论如何,他表示,每个人对这本书都有各自看法,而该部并非意图推翻某个种族而选择使用此书为中五读物。

他重申,教育部正等待国大党呈交备忘录,以了解他们所提出的建议。

国大党署理主席兼人力资源部长拿督苏巴马廉早前表示,会向教育部长丹斯里慕尤丁反映,要求取消此书作为中学指定文学读物,或要求删改当中的内容。

《连环扣》是由马来文学作家阿都拉胡欣所着,原定为中学五年级学生的指定马来文学读物。书中指印裔生活在「种姓制度」,引发印裔社会不满。

另外,魏家祥表示,《野菜》这本书将派送给全国2800间中学,这本书的内容相当有意思,相信能让学生从中获得课本以外的知识。

他指出,书中也教导人们如何吃得健康,吃野菜不只是马来人的方式,也是华人和印度人的饮食方式。

「这本书也可培养学生的读书风气,内容是以英文书写,因此学生也可以加强英文的运用和了解。」

《野菜》是由MASBE公司履行社会企业责任,免费赠送给2800间中学。

博士,教育部无法解决教育问题???
教育风波一波未平一波又起,到底我国副教育部长魏家祥面对众学生家长的疑问时,真正的 答案是什么?

因为太多不负责任的答复,恕我无法称呼他为教育部副部长。

目前魏博士给予人们的信用已经毁在他说一套做一套的行为上,之前的师资调派问题闹得沸沸扬扬,魏博士做出的回应是,“这不关我的事,教育部已把新师资调派名单都已准备好。”还说,“教育部正催促大马国家学术鉴定机构发出正式信件,以便教 育部把信件带到公共服务局,待学位委员会核准后由教育服务委员会直接接受该批学员成为公务员。”

师资分配的工作不是教育部在做的吗?结果我国的副教育部长说不关他的事?

这样的说法除了表示他不是教育部长之外也令人觉得教育部不负责任,更令所有学生的家长担心和失望。

除此之外,目前在执教的老师更是无辜,

在新学年的开学时,教育部实施了“今天通知,明天报到,后天上任”的“临时抱佛脚”政策,临教突然失业,学校老师不够,影响教育素质也牺牲无辜的莘莘学子。

这些问题已经不是头一遭了,古说:“经一事,长一智”,他们的智都长去哪里了?没有人处理?还是教育部根本不重视华小教育问题?任由自生自灭,一切都以《拖字诀》了事。
师资问题未解决,教科书又出现一大堆令人震惊的问题,教育部不只无法妥善安排导师,更没能力 鉴别教科书内容。是教科书的编写任务所托非人?还是整个编写的过程时限又是拜在“临时抱佛脚”的政策下?

所有学校问题,魏博士都以“四两拨千斤”的方式解决了,一下子说不强迫,结果班照缩,一下子说不关他的事,要不就去问教育局总监,不然就是校长不配合。真无愧于“博士”的荣誉!

至于部长一职就交由那些不配合的校长,不需交代的教育局总监去当吧!身份与能力相差太远,只会让马来西亚又增加多一则国际笑话吧了。

赵明福皇委会进入第9天的听证会,大马律师公会代表赵伟今日根据死者的卧尸照片,发现赵明福衣袋有一支原子笔,竟然在坠楼后仍安放在口袋内。

赵伟在听证会上,向查案官阿末纳兹里查问该支原子笔的来源,并质疑为何赵明福从高处坠下后,在口袋内的原子笔仍然安好。

阿末纳兹里则说,警方调查发现,有关原子笔是反贪污委员会送给赵明福的纪念品。

未曾检查原子笔上指纹

不过,他并没对原子笔进行进一步的调查,也没有搜查笔上的指纹等,而是直接把该支笔连同赵明福的遗体,交给化验局重案鉴证组主任谢丽凤鉴证。

他说,该支笔一直置放在赵明福的衣袋内。

他表示,本身也没有检察该支笔的墨水,是否符合据称是赵明福遗书的“字条”。

另一方面,阿末纳兹里受到反贪会律师沙菲宜的盘问时披露,警方与法医到雪州反贪会大楼上进行落体实验时,竟是使用水瓶与熊娃娃。

坦承用熊娃娃引发哄堂

在验尸庭审讯时,阿末纳兹里曾表示,警方曾使用“娃娃”(anak patung)来进行落体实验。

不过,媒体与公众都以为,所谓的“娃娃”是一个人偶,直到今日的皇委会听证会,阿末纳兹里受到沙菲宜的仔细盘问时,才揭露那是一个熊娃娃。

当他一说出“熊娃娃”三个字,本来气氛严肃的听证会顿时一片哄堂,连皇委会成员也不禁莞尔。

明福书包莫名现于沙发

【本刊翁慧琪撰述/苏晓枫摄影】赵明福生前的背包成为今天皇委会听证会的焦点。赵明福坠楼毙命案查案官助理警监阿末纳兹里(ASP Ahmad Nazri Zainal)在听证会上,揭露背包在案发当天下午突然出现在沙发上,开着其中两个隔层,而所谓的赵明福“遗书”字条就折着放在内里。

阿末纳兹里(左图)今天早上接受律师公会代表律师赵伟的交叉盘问时,指背包在下午时分突然出现在沙发上,相信有不明人士过后放置在该处。

他今天在听证上提到,当时背包时放置在地上靠着沙发,过后他拿进一名官员的房间内检查,但没有即时记录所有物品,只是相信自己没有遗漏东西。

他也示范打开背包时,纸张是折起来、放在主要隔层处,其中还有钱包、电脑充电器、相机、光碟等物品。有关纸张包括指称是赵明福遗书的字条。

不过,现场拍摄照片显示背包发现之际,有其中两个隔层是开着,所以赵伟要求他确认发现时的背包状态,但他在听证会上才发现,其中一个拉链已毁坏。

此外,阿末纳兹里也承认案发当天或过后检查背包时,自己与其他警员都没有戴上手套,更没有把书包拿去化验。他指,当初上司告知他背包是死者私人物品,而非证物,所以他们没有戴手套检查。


至于背包中的争议字条,他表明在2010年三月份,才从两名下属口中获悉,原来他曾经在案发当天就看过字条,不过当下看见有华语字眼,加上一些“YB”的马来文字眼,推测是赵明福工作相关的物品。

下午五时被放置在沙发

曾有一名反贪污委员会官员(祖里纳瓦帝)向阿末纳兹里表示,她在7月16日早上八时抵达该处时有看到这个背包。

对方向他透露,这个背包置放在另一名反贪委官员办公室前的一个沙发上,接着就收到雪州反贪委员会高级执法助理莫哈末安努亚(Mohd Anuar Ismail)的房间里。

然而,安努亚依斯迈供证时提到,早上九时左右,他发现赵明福的背包仍放在纳兹里的办公室外的沙发旁,他把赵明福的背包带入客厅,再从纳兹里的办公室,再去到海鲁的办公室。 【点击:反贪官员未强硬对付或恐吓 证人透露最后见明福者姓名】

阿末纳兹里在死因庭供证时表明,他在下午3时25分第一次登上14楼时,并没有看到背包,第二次上楼约下午五时才发现背包。这意味,赵明福的背包在下午五时才被置放在沙发上。

阿末纳兹里今天在听证会上表示,祖里纳瓦帝(Zurinawati Zulkifli)向他提到背包在安努亚的房间内,可是他不记得对方是否有提及谁把背包放进房间,也不知道对方如何获悉背包属于赵明福。

他亦澄清,祖里纳瓦帝当时告知他有关背包的事情,而另有一名反贪委职员则交赵明福的身份证名字和号码给他,这名女职员名为“Azian”。

未确认查案官行走路线

律师公会代表律师赵伟也在听证会上,追问阿末纳兹里有关安努亚当天凌晨的去向。

根据安努亚(左图)之前的证词,他在7月16日凌晨于祈祷室睡觉,而其办公室位于赵明福休息的沙发旁边。赵伟点出,安努亚能够透过不同路径,从祈祷室走到办公室。

阿末纳兹里承认,自己没有询问安努亚是使用什么路线,又是否有使用出入卡(access card)。他透露,14楼的反贪委雪州总部共有六道门必须使用出入卡。


反贪委雪州总部不但有使用打卡(punch card)记录职员上下班时间,也有使用出入卡。然而,皇委会相信并非所有职员都会使用出入卡,况且有部分职员的打卡是没有任何记录

故此,皇委会相信无法以打卡或出入卡记录,确认当时有何者都留在14楼。

或有人关起14楼窗口

另外,涉赵明福坠楼的窗口开至极限达三尺九寸,而14楼的窗口当时开着幅度是15寸。阿末纳兹里不排除赵明福坠楼,可能有人把窗口关至该幅度。

此外,窗口不远处有一张相信已毁坏的桌子,但他不确定桌子与窗口之间的距离,相信能够容纳两至三人同时站在此。

仍有证物与DNA未寻获

另一名律师公会代表律师马亨德兰(M. Mahendran)在下午的听证会上提问阿末纳兹里。

马亨德兰指,依据死因调查庭所获得的证词,赵明福在2009年7月16日凌晨三时许结束给口供,过后到资深执法助理纳兹里(Nadzri Ibrahim)办公室前的沙发上休息。从沙发处到窗口处,必须经过八名反贪委官员的办公室。

阿末纳兹里告知,其他警员负责替这八名官员录取口供,不过他没有确认从凌晨三时至下午1时30分之间,有何者逗留在14楼。

今天的听证会上也提到,目前还未寻找到的相关证物,包括赵明福手表主体,以及窗口的握把。

此外,赵明福衣物和腰带上属于两人的脱氧核糖核酸(DNA),虽然其中一人已经确认是车祸毙命者,但另一人是迄今未有着落

赵明福皇委会听证会今日续审,庭上再传出数名身份不明的反贪污委员会官员,曾在案发前参与盘问赵明福的工作。

NONE律师公会代表律师梁肇富在盘问查案官阿末纳兹里(Ahmad Nazri Zainal,右图)时,出示负责调查雪州议员舞弊案的查案官莫哈末安华(Mohd Anuar Ismail)的供词曾指出,除了两名分别来自布城和沙亚南的反贪会官员外,仍有3至4名不明反贪会官员参与盘问赵明福。

其中两名负责盘问赵明福的反贪会官员是来自布城的阿尔曼(Arman Alias)和来自沙亚南的阿斯拉夫(Mohd Ashraf Mohd Yunus)。

调查行动主任或知官员身份

当梁肇富询及为何莫哈末安华不知道这些身份不明官员的名字时,阿末纳兹里答称,莫哈末安华可能只是查案官,而反贪会助理警监查案官莫哈末纳兹里(Mohd Nazri Ibrahim)才是案件的调查主任,后者可能较为清楚这些官员的身份。

他指出,共有22名、3名及14名分别来自沙亚南、巴生和布城的反贪会官员,涉及调查雪州议员舞弊案。

索涉案名单闭路与电视录影

唯恐再有漏网之鱼,皇委会指示反贪会,提供所有涉及调查这宗舞弊案的反贪会官员名单,及所有从2009年7月15日傍晚6点至隔天下午2点期间,出现在沙亚南商业大厦14楼雪州反贪会办公室的反贪会官员名单。

皇委会也指示阿末纳兹里,出示该大厦从2009年7月15日早上8点至隔天下午2点的闭路电视录影,以索得所有在那段时间出现在该大厦的人士的资料。

另外,阿旺阿马达再也(Awang Armadajaya Awang Mahmud)在休庭前透露,反贪会已解密该会盘问证人的标准作业程序,并会将有关文件的复本提供给各造律师。

听证会将于明早9点续审,届时阿末纳兹里将继续接受盘问。

调查赵明福命案的皇家调查委员会今日宣布,委任已退休的英国籍香港廉政公署前首席调查员史奎尔斯(Michael Leslie Squires),成为本案的独立调查员,有权搜查任何建筑物及取走有关本案的文件调查。

azlan皇委会秘书沙里布丁在文告中表示,皇委会是行使1950年调查委员会法令的第16(2)条文所赋予的权力,要求总检察署委任史奎尔斯成为调查员,以根据皇委会的调查权限,调查赵明福命案。

文告指出,在刑事程序法典第13条文下,史奎尔斯将拥有警官般的一切调查权力,同时获准搜查任何建筑物,以及拿取任何有关本案的文章或文件。

史奎尔斯今日已经在听证会上旁听。皇委会也特别安排一名通译员,负责为他翻译。

皇委会为彼得进行一切安排

NONE此外,沙里布丁也宣布,英国法医彼得维纳兹(Peter Vanezis,右图中)将来马出庭供证。

沙里布丁在文告中表示,彼得所任职的威廉哈维研究中心,已经向皇委会确认,彼得将出席皇委会的听证会供证。

“皇委会现在正与他,进行一切有关的安排。”

以下是史奎尔斯的探员生涯简介:

1971年:加入英国警队。

1974年:成为利物浦刑事调查部门的探员(DC)。

1978年:获擢升为利物浦的警长(DS),负责国内外的毒品调查。

1984年:调任香港廉政公署高级调查员,负责政府与私人界的贪污调查。

1990年:成为廉政公署的首席调查员,负责调查信用卡贪污事件。

1994年:以廉政公署的首席调查员身份,负责卧底事务与行动,同时为香港与国际的两大机关提供培训。

2001年:从香港廉政公署退休,但当有调查机构需要其服务时,仍提供咨询。

文告表示,史奎尔斯曾被香港港督、廉政公署主席及美国等多家服务机构的表扬。

彼得指明福清醒状态下坠楼

至于彼得则是法医学权威,他当初受反贪会邀请,于2010年向验尸庭供证时,提出与雪州政府邀请的泰国法医普缇相反的意见,认为赵明福验尸的最终结论是,死者是从高处坠下导致身体出现多种伤势而致死。

他认为,赵明福的伤势是坠楼造成,死者在案发时神智清醒。此外,没有证据显示赵明福生前遭人掐颈,但不排除被“抓颈”。

彼得也反驳赵明福肛门曾遭硬物插入的说法,并解释根据他所看过的照片及验尸结果显示,其肛门伤势是坠楼造成的

为了两线制,国阵必需倒

本人不是任何政党的支持者,只是一般老百姓。我国独立半个世纪,国阵也执政了半个世纪,大家看看,到底巫华印裔得到了什么样的对待?

那些所谓的种族利益,试试问问身边的马来同胞,他们是否有的到过?还是只是给朋党利益?马华的贡献大家有目共睹,还是有些人故意假装看不见。执政党的成员应该平起平坐,而不是奴婢之分,华社要什么,还要马华去要求,倒不如我们直接去找巫统。看看我们的华小就知道了,每次大选就来一个搬迁。我们要的是增加华小。而不是搬迁。

至于那些印族同胞更惨,养肥一个三美,自己什么也没有。

两线制固然好,如果国阵倒了,他才知道人民才是老板,下次才会改过自新,虽然我国首相对出一个大马,但民联推出的百日政策也不差,不管国阵或民联也好,现正的人民都活在经济痛苦当中。

我们是石油出产国,却要付昂贵的汽油费。我倒看不出民联执政有什么不好,最起码他们能废除大道过路费,和其他福利。看看槟城、雪兰莪和吉兰丹,它们是多么的照顾老百姓。我住在雪兰莪,我只知道308以前我必须付水费,但民联执政后,我一毛也不用付。这就是我们的福利,浪费水还是不浪费水,那些是人家妒忌而已。

为了两线制,应该要替换现有的政府,所以国阵必需倒。

政党轮替是两线制必经之路

Bansiang King以“为了两线制,国阵不能倒”来回应倪可敏的文章“两线制是华社唯一政治出路”。倪先生是民联议员,King先生看来是国阵支持者,从不同角度看问题。我读了觉得挺有趣,也想加入讨论。

King先生也同意两线制在大马是“大势所趋”,也同意有竞争人民才能主导国家政治。但他是以国阵必须当政为两线制之前提的。

他的第一个论调是:民联“还在累积执政经验,强化基层组织”,他们还没有准备好执政。

他的第二个论调是:国阵在纳吉的领导下已经走出后308的不知所措而主动醒觉和转型。

他的第三个论调是:只要国阵“主动转型”,人民就会给他们机会,像搭客给马航机会生存一样。

他的第四个论调是:选民如果错估了形势投错了票,“只会重演台湾陈水扁侥幸上台的戏码,祸国殃民后,只留下声声懊悔和叹息。”

我想从以上这几点向King先生讨教讨教。

第一、槟、雪、吉三州(丹州回教党执政已久、霹州已被国阵夺回,略去不提)正是让民联累积执政经验。其中槟、雪二州在各方面表现强于其他国阵州,证明了政治上经验并不是最重要的,最重要的是执政者的个人素质。说到基层组织,马华号称拥有百万党员,若以华人人口三百万计(以两千万人口中的25%中的60%在西马计),就是三个人中就有一人是马华党员,怎么在总会长老巢就只得百分之三十不到的华人支持率呢?可见像马华这样有基层组织的政党也无法得到所有党员的支持,故基层组织并不是能不能得到支持执政的唯一条件。

第二、国阵是不是在纳吉的领导下走出后308的不知所措,连King先生都不是那么肯定。他不是说了“人民是否因为国家转型而受惠,此时断言似乎言之过早。”吉隆坡已经有了据说还有一半空置着的双峰塔(就是说两座中有一座是白建的),纳吉政府要再建一座世界最高楼会惠及人民,白痴才会相信。

第三、308之前,人民的选择几乎没有。308给了人民改变的希望,一方是当了半个世纪的执政者,被民联“敲醒”了才来“转型”,还好意思说是“主动”的。以倪先生的说法是民联之加入竞争逼使国阵处处学民联州施政,最终人民受惠。另一方是反对党,所谓的利民措施还只停留在纸上谈兵的阶段。人民对这两组人的衡量标准是不一样的。King 先生的思维,也就是国阵体制内,尤其是马华、民政在面对眼前华人票大量流失的困境时的一般思维,下届大选就能证明他们这是不是一厢情愿了。

第四、台湾是出了一个陈水扁,马来西亚却出了无数个陈水扁,暂时还没有任何一个是出自民联的。再说了,如果民联真的像陈水扁一样祸国殃民,如果国阵到时也出个马英九的话,国阵还可以像台湾的国民党一样卷土重来的,不是说了是两线制嘛!

政治轮替是不是必须“健全、成熟”,最近在北非、中东发生的、看似不可能的换政府潮流不会让King先生完全没有启示吧!人民有时是盲目的、冲动的,加上民联真的不是太差的选择。308只差了一点点就换成了,你以为砂劳越、沙巴和柔佛的选民就不会受这一股回教世界的人民力量所影响吗?

就算是民联和国阵不是处在一个水平线上,就算是“民联的合作机制还必须再加强”,或民联必须“先扩大和巩固东马的部署和支持度”才能执政,人民还是会把票投给民联,因为他们就是要换政府。

King 先生以“国阵选择大刀阔斧的进行了政治改革和经济转型”而要求人民再给国阵一次机会,像搭客给马航一次机会一样,甚至以不要形成亚航独大的局面来比喻不能让民联独大等似实而非的论调来说服人民留住国阵政府,不然国阵完蛋。那人民目前正在享受的、两边讨好的“两线制前的空窗期”就不能继续了,利民政策没了,祸国殃民的戏码就要上演了。为什么不说过去几十年来马航独大、国阵独大的局面,怎么就不祸国殃民了呢!

King先生可能不知道治理国家不同于管理公司:公司倒闭,商业生命就完了;但换政府不会让国阵消失,反而会让国阵变得更好,台湾国民党的重生、扁后民进党的重生就是最好的例子。

所以民联能不能组织下一届政府,重点并不是看他们有多少支持率,而是人民还愿不愿意再给国阵多一个五十年来证明他们的治国能力。

政治轮替是两线制的游戏规则,所以国阵必须倒,民联必须上,即使是非常不健康的、危险的,不然政治轮替无法完成,这是我们“迈向健全两线制的必经之路”(用King先生语)。
