Singapore Election on 2011???changes, changes, changes!!!

FROM:http://forums.asiaone.com/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=18169

I am not a pro PAP, i am not a millionaire, i am not a boot licker. i am not even a dog. i am worse than a dog. but i am happy and thankful to PAP.

i am a cabby, a slave, given govt taxi company more than $200k in term of taxi rental alone in just 5yrs of driving taxi. i only got 4days off (free rental) in a year. i have to work 361days/yr.

but i am not sour after i think deeper, my $300k (plus buying cheaper diesel from my GLC taxi co) is used to feed many staffs in GLC taxi co.

i myself still earn enough to pay my bills though i cant save much money.

but i am happy, i am happy cos i can survive.

though i got no child, but i am happy govt got ways to import PRs from abroad.

for me, i am happy there are lots of PRs and expats who take my taxi during peak hours.

outside peak hours, local people take.

this is well thought by my GLC taxi co. (PAP taxi co).

they do care for locals and poorer people really, not just rich expat.

Nothing is impossible..

Not all dogs are pro PAP.
Not all dogs are millionair.
Not all dogs are boot licker.

This again is PAPayas gimmicks to entice voters, so don't be conned by their generosity and magnanimity, a wolf in a sheep skin.

Yes it matters to people like us and many more, we are tired and sick of PAPayas, caring for themselves more than for the people. They squeeze and squeeze us to pulp, making us living fromhand to mouth.

They can loose tens of billions but refused to lift a finger to help the under-privilege or less well-off. A change is good for better or for worse.

Thats why i say: "One nation, one Singapore, lets be united, kan the papaya off the parliment in the next election"

Anyway, the later they hold their election, the more time it would give the opposition parties to recruit more candidates to contest in more wards. Plus with the current lousy leadership, more and more citizens are getting more fed up with them by the days.. So while they may want to wait till economy brightens up before they had the election, people's mind, once set, would not be reversed that easily liao..

I really do not think that the PAP will risk dragging till 2011. The reason is the economy is showing signs of turning around and this is the best time to get people to believe that they are responsibile for it, although all of us know that it is not true. I think that they agree with the economists that has warned that the recovery will be "W" shaped...We maybe be just near the middle peak and expect it to peak by early by next year. After that, there may be a drastic dip by 2011 which may see many more people losing their jobs and out for their blood...What better time to claim credit now for the quick turn-around... so that when the economy starts to dip in 2011 and hit rock bottom in 2012 they can still cling on to their million dollar pay checks...

Singaporeans mostly very scare of government. They will cow pei cow bu in kopi shop. When it come to the real thing, the poll will be reverse.

You see I was eating Yong Tao Hu at Peoples Park food centre and Dr Chee and gang arrived to start to distribute their "free" newspaper.

Not even one person dare to take a copy. Maybe the ISD officers are filming nearby.
